Wouter Plantenga

Highlights

As part of JTC’s US management team, Wouter provides strategic guidance for business development and contributes to the ongoing growth within the Americas and JTC globally.

He is a Dutch trained corporate lawyer with over 20 years’ experience in cross-border and transatlantic financial services with extensive knowledge of the North American market. The majority of Wouter’s experience has been within the US where he is based in Miami and New York. He also sits on board of JTC’s Luxembourg AIFM (JTC Global AIFM Solutions S.A.) and JTC’s ICS ExCo.

Having worked for a number of large global fund, corporate and trust services providers throughout his career, Wouter gained extensive experience with assisting US based alternative investment funds, financial institutions, and multinational companies with delivering bespoke local and global service solutions. Before joining JTC, Wouter held the position of Managing Director of a large publicly traded global fund and corporate services firm overseeing both operational teams, as well as multiple business development teams in the US.

In their spare time

Whilst Wouter was a very active sportsman in his earlier life (professional field hockey player in the Netherlands), his hobbies now mostly revolve around his family, combined with lots of outdoor activity!
