JTC has a long-term commitment to wellbeing under the three pillars of physical, emotional and mental good health and has created a network for all employees both professionally and personally to ensure we live out our mantra of being ‘stronger together’.
Employee Assistance Programme (EAP)
- Our wellbeing support system includes an Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) offering a confidential helpline for each of our global offices. Whether our employees have questions about balancing working from home with parenting and childcare, transitioning back to the office, or managing health and money issues, these providers are there to help. Services are available to all JTC employees, so any questions or worries can be answered confidentially by experts, 24/7, 365 days a year.
Mental Health First Aiders (MHFA)
- A Mental Health First Aiders (MHFA) initiative is in place where trained JTC volunteers are available for those with mental health concerns. Their interaction could range from having an initial conversation through to supporting the person to get appropriate help. MHFAs are not trained to offer ongoing support or counselling but are taught to listen, reassure and respond, even in a crisis.
- JTC currently has 36 Mind UK trained MHFA volunteers who are based across our global offices. We operate a ‘no borders’ policy meaning that wherever a person may be located, they have access to every single one of the MHFA to arrange a virtual meeting.
