Rachel Doherty

Highlights

Within her role, Rachel is responsible for the management of a portfolio of private equity, venture capital and digital asset clients.  She runs three Jersey domiciled digital asset ETP structures and several single asset VC structures which are a mix of Cayman, Jersey and US entities. Rachel’s experience in digital assets dates from 2018, when she was involved in the launch and upkeep of the Binance Jersey exchange, as well as the launch of several crypto denominated funds and fund of funds. Rachel is also the secretary of JTC’s Digital Asset Working Group, which includes senior team members across multiple JTC jurisdictions.

Rachel currently manages a team of managers and administrators based across JTC’s Jersey and Cape Town offices.

Rachel also has experience in the corporate services sector where she has previously managed corporate real estate structures, schemes of arrangement and corporate capital restructurings.

In their spare time

In her spare time, when she is not busy chasing around her toddler, Rachel looks after her three horses and competes at the top local level in showjumping. She also enjoys travelling for food and wine experiences.
