James Walker

Manager - Business Development & Marketing Jersey 

James joined JTC in 2019 as part of the Private Client Services Business Development & Marketing team.

He started his marketing career at Visit Jersey in 2015 where he played a key role in the island’s product development and marketing programme with a focus on the development of sports tourism. Prior to that James spent 15 years working in the motorsport industry, based in Jersey, UK and various locations around the world.

James is responsible for helping to achieve the strategic and marketing objectives of the Private Client Services division, through the effective delivery of the Business Development & Marketing programme. His role within the marketing team predominantly involves design and creation of marketing materials, website and social media management, event management and day to day support of the division’s Business Development team.

Qualifications

  • CIM Certificate in Professional Marketing

James enjoys playing and watching all sports, keeping fit, and spending time chasing after his two young children. When possible, he also enjoys exploring Jersey on foot or on two wheels.
