Senior Manager – Fund & Corporate Services

ROLE OVERVIEWPURPOSE OF JOB

The primary function of a Senior Manager Corporate is to provide strategic oversight and leadership for the delivery of accounting services to the corporate entities administered by JTC, ensuring that service standards, deadlines, and applicable legal, regulatory, and reporting requirements are consistently met. The role is responsible for overseeing the effective coordination of accounting-related activities, driving quality and operational excellence, and acting as a senior point of accountability in support of client service delivery.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

  • Provide strategic leadership and oversight of the accounting service delivery for the corporate entities within the team’s portfolio, ensuring a consistently high standard of service to clients, intermediaries and other stakeholders.
  • Lead, manage and develop the team to ensure resources, capabilities and priorities are aligned with business objectives, service standards, deadlines and client expectations.
  • Set, drive and monitor the team’s operational strategy, objectives and key performance indicators, ensuring alignment with the wider business strategy and continuous improvement of service delivery.
  • Maintain overall accountability for the timely and effective coordination of accounting deliverables for the relevant corporate entities, ensuring compliance with applicable legal, regulatory, reporting and internal control requirements.
  • Oversee client portfolio performance, including commercial management, timely billing, fee collection, debtor oversight and achievement of revenue targets relating to the entities under the team’s responsibility.
  • Act as a senior point of contact for key clients, advisers, intermediaries and introducers, fostering strong relationships, supporting client retention and development, and promoting a value-added service approach.
  • Attend and lead client meetings where appropriate, representing the business in a professional manner and providing senior oversight on service delivery, operational matters and strategic developments.
  • Lead regular team meetings and ensure effective communication of business updates, regulatory developments, operational changes and strategic priorities across the team.
  • Ensure adherence to all applicable risk management, compliance, regulatory and anti-money laundering requirements, promoting a strong governance and control culture across the team.
  • Oversee the coordination of accounting processes and service workflows to ensure accounting records, reporting deliverables and related outputs for corporate entities are prepared accurately and delivered within agreed timelines.
  • Oversee the integrity and timeliness of financial reporting deliverables, ensuring that appropriate controls, escalation procedures and quality assurance measures are in place across the service delivery model.
  • Ensure that client queries, mailbox management and stakeholder communications are handled promptly and effectively by the team, with material issues escalated in a timely and appropriate manner.
  • Provide leadership, coaching and support to team members, including performance management, technical development, succession planning and the coordination of training for new and existing employees.
  • Ensure company policies, procedures, client service level agreements and internal controls are properly implemented, maintained and adhered to across the team.
  • Promote process optimisation, standardisation and appropriate documentation of procedures to strengthen operational resilience, mitigate risk and support consistent service quality.
  • Maintain sufficient oversight of technical accounting, tax and reporting matters affecting the corporate client base, providing senior guidance on complex issues and ensuring appropriate specialist input is obtained where required.
  • Maintain and develop professional knowledge relevant to the role, ensuring ongoing awareness of legal, regulatory, accounting and market developments affecting the corporate services business.
  • Foster a high-performance culture by inspiring and motivating the team, supporting collaboration across the wider Group and reinforcing JTC’s values, expected behaviours and stakeholder-focused culture.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Strong leadership capability with prior experience in supervising, managing and developing teams within an accounting or corporate services environment.
  • Significant experience in accounting services, financial reporting and client service delivery for corporate entities, ideally within the Luxembourg financial services or corporate services sector.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS and Luxembourg GAAP (Lux GAAP), with the ability to oversee the application of relevant accounting frameworks and reporting requirements for Luxembourg corporate structures.
  • Good understanding of the Luxembourg legal, regulatory and governance environment applicable to corporate entities, including filing, reporting and compliance obligations.
  • Degree in accounting, finance or business, together with a recognised professional accounting qualification; qualification as a Luxembourg chartered accountant (Expert-Comptable) or eligibility/background consistent with the Luxembourg market would be considered an advantage.
  • Minimum 6 to 8 years’ relevant professional experience, including meaningful experience in a managerial or senior supervisory role within accounting, financial reporting, fiduciary, corporate or financial services.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact confidently and professionally with clients, intermediaries, senior management and other stakeholders.
  • Commercial awareness and a client-focused mindset, with the ability to support client retention, service development and business growth.
  • Fluent in English; French would be a strong advantage, and any additional language relevant to the Luxembourg market would be beneficial.

The expected salary range for this position is €119,000 – €126,000 per annum, based on experience and qualifications.
