Client Accountant – Shared Services – PCS

ROLE OVERVIEW

PURPOSE OF JOB

Responsible for maintenance of accounting records and preparation of Financial Statements for a portfolio of clients for management and/or audit purposes.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements for various entities, ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards and client requirements.
• Prepare and maintain accounting reports, as well as monthly and quarterly management accounts, in line with client specifications.
• Maintain accurate bookkeeping and accounting records for a portfolio of clients, ensuring full compliance and accuracy.
• Regularly update and manage schedules for investments and properties within the client portfolio.
• Address audit queries and liaise with auditors to facilitate the finalization of audits within established deadlines.
• Assist in reviewing client accounts and preparing management information reports, ensuring all deadlines are met.
• Ensure accurate and timely tax filings for clients, adhering to tax compliance requirements.
• Manage tax inquiries, coordinate meetings with tax advisors, clients, and intermediaries, and ensure timely follow-up on calls and actions.
• Prepare schedules and reports for client and management submissions as required.
• Deliver high-quality work in alignment with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and meet the relevant Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Share accounting knowledge and expertise with colleagues and assist in the coaching and development of junior team members.
• Maintain professional client relationships by promptly responding to inquiries and ensuring high-quality service delivery.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures, fostering positive relationships within the team and with external stakeholders.
• Perform any other related duties as may be required to meet business objectives.

 ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

• Partly qualified accountant (ACCA level 2 or 3).
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in accounting or a related field, preferably within a similar industry or role.
