Bennie joined JTC in 2021. As a Senior Director in the Risk & Compliance department, his role works to develop and supervise JTC’s Jersey regulated funds’ risk and compliance framework as well as acting as key person for regulated funds services businesses, funds and Jersey Private Funds.

Bennie is a qualified English Solicitor. He is also admitted as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of the Eastern Caribbean Division (held at Anguilla) and as an Attorney with Higher Rights of Appearance in South Africa. Bennie has extensive experience in providing legal, risk and regulatory compliance services to financial services businesses and funds and has previously held Compliance Officer, Money Laundering Compliance Officer and Money Laundering Reporting Officer positions for trust company business and financial services providers.

In their spare time

Bennie loves fly-fishing, the opera and is the star of the golfing team. He is also a regular climb frame substitute and disinterested netball sub for his children.
