ROLE OVERVIEW
PURPOSE OF JOB
To oversee the effective strategic management of JTC’s working capital and liquidity across multiple jurisdictions, proactively ensuring that all operational and payroll funding requirements are met. Key responsibilities include monitoring daily cash positions, coordinating working capital transfers with key stakeholders and authorising payments. The role also involves collaborating with internal teams to drive enhancements to cash management reporting and forecasting.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
- Oversee JTC’s daily working capital position across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring sufficient liquidity to support all operational requirements.
- Manage payroll funding by proactively monitoring requirements and arranging necessary working capital transfers in accordance with jurisdictional payroll schedules.
- Responsible for identifying and mitigating potential currency shortfalls in advance of forecasted funding requirements.
- Recommend foreign exchange (FX) transactions as required, in alignment with operational and payroll funding needs.
- Manage the timely settlement of JTC’s Transfer Pricing invoices, proactively managing payment schedules and available liquidity.
- Review and authorise payments as an authorised signatory across multiple jurisdictional banking platforms, including Faster Payments, CHAPS, International Payments, ACH and Wires.
- Oversee the process of preparing and approving payment instructions for operational costs, payroll funding and working capital transfers as an authorised signatory, liaising with multiple internal stakeholders.
- Oversee and coordinate working capital transfers, liaising with Financial Controllers as required.
- Collaborate with Reporting and Analysis to enhance group wide cash reporting and forecasting capabilities.
- Manage the mentoring, coaching and ongoing development of team members.
- Adhere to risk and compliance procedures in relations to regulatory requirements and AML legislation.
- Adhere to JTC core values and expected behaviours.
- Any other duties as deemed necessary by Management.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
- Proven experience in cash management, treasury or financial operations.
- Hold a relevant professional qualification.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
- Knowledge of various payment types and payment approval processes is strongly preferred.
- Experience with banking platforms or automated workflow systems strongly preferred.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate at all levels
- Strong organisational skills with a proven ability to manage deadlines and competing priorities.
- Excellent attention to detail and high accuracy under pressure.
- Demonstrated experience in leading, coaching and developing team members.
