Manager – Banking, Treasury and Investments

ROLE OVERVIEW

PURPOSE OF JOB

The Manager – Banking, Treasury and Investment Sales, is responsible for driving the profitable growth and acquisition of client assets across JTC’s Treasury and Investment Services. This role is pivotal in originating, developing and maintaining trusted relationships with new and existing clients, with a strong emphasis on identifying treasury and investment opportunities and ensuring best-in-class service delivery within the framework of relevant regulations.

The successful candidate will demonstrate a proven record of delivering and exceeding revenue growth targets across corporate, institutional or private client segments. By collaborating with internal business units, external clients and strategic banking partners, the Manager will support the execution of JTC’s business development strategy, expand the treasury and investment portfolio and contribute to the continuous evolution of JTC’s market-leading service proposition.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

  • Build and convert a robust sales pipeline to drive growth in treasury and investment assets under management.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with corporate, institutional and private clients, identifying and delivering innovative solutions.
  • Lead client acquisition activities through tailored proposals, meetings and presentations.
  • Consistently exceed sales and revenue targets in line with strategic business goals.
  • Develop productive partnerships with banking partners, investment managers and internal teams to enhance JTC’s treasury and investment offering.
  • Act as primary point of contact for client queries, delivering a holistic and solutions-driven service experience.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to identify market opportunities and unmet client needs.
  • Represent JTC’s values and standards in all stakeholder interactions.
  • Ensure all business activity complies with relevant financial regulations and JTC risk and compliance standards.
  • Support client onboarding and product delivery with a rigorous focus on regulatory and AML requirements.
  • Contribute to the ongoing refinement of treasury and investment processes, prioritising risk management and operational efficiency.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market and regulatory developments, providing commercial insights.
  • Demonstrate strategic thinking and entrepreneurial mindset in identifying new growth opportunities.
  • Drive cross-selling initiatives and collaborate to optimise service delivery.
  • Uphold the Group’s policies, standards and expected behaviours at all times.
  • Undertake additional responsibilities as required to support the business.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven business development experience, ideally within corporate, treasury, investment products, cash management or financial services.
  • Demonstrated track record of meeting and exceeding revenue and growth targets.
  • Proficient in pipeline management, using Salesforce or similar CRM solutions.
  • Sound knowledge of banking and financial regulations as they relate to treasury and investment activity.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with experience delivering product solutions for a mix of corporate, private, or institutional clients.
  • Skilled presenter with the ability to craft and deliver high-quality, client-focused sales materials and proposals.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational capabilities; results-oriented and resilient under pressure.
  • Commercial acumen with the ability to work independently in a London-based role and willingness to travel as required.
  • Demonstrated experience in a treasury, banking, investment or related business development/sales role.
  • Studying for, or holding, a relevant financial services qualification aligned with regulatory and industry standards.
  • Fluent English (essential); additional European languages (e.g., French, Dutch, German) desirable.
