Purpose of job

The CCD specialist shall have a dedicated role in the first line of operations and the compliance officer will have an dedicated role in the second line role within JTC Institutional Services Netherlands B.V. (“JTC”) to ensure compliance requirements with applicable internal and external rules and regulations for clients and client entities related to AML (Anti-Money Laundering) regulation (Wtt, Wwft) and Sanction law.

CCD specialist

The day-to-day activities include ensuring that client due diligence and monitoring is properly performed, you will conduct the client due diligence (“CDD”) process, contact clients regarding all required information requests and drafting the necessary documents and maintaining the compliance client folders. You will ensure that potential integrity risks are identified and managed and, that clients are served in accordance with applicable regulations and JTC’s internal policies.

In this position you will work closely together with the legal team on the re-acceptance process from initial prospect to client and perform the first line compliance monitoring during the client relationship.

You will also be involved, in collaboration with the compliance team, in drafting, improving internal policies and keeping track of current developments related to client due diligence and anti-financial crime regulations.

Compliance officer

Compliance promotes the integrity of the organization through providing advice to the first line and by monitoring compliance with norms. In this position you will work in the Compliance team on the acceptance process from prospect to client and second line monitoring during the client relationship.

You ensure that potential integrity risks are identified and managed and, that clients are served in accordance with applicable regulations and internal policies. You contribute to the promotion of an integrity-conscious corporate culture.

In the day-to-day activities you are active in ensuring that client due diligence and monitoring is properly performed and you are involved in advising and training the business.

You are the first point of contact for the client files. You know how to achieve compliance objectives in a cooperative manner, you work on the relationship within the entire team and you have an eye for improving compliance within JTC in a way that suits JTC’s operations. The Compliance officer shall advise the CDD specialists and Company Lawyers or other team members on compliance operations.

You are also involved, in collaboration with the CDD team, in improving internal policies and you keep track of current developments, such as in the field of social propriety, international tax matters and EU anti-money laundering regulations.

Essential Requirements

Main Responsibilities and Duties

You are responsible for successfully completing first line or second line compliance processes for (potential) clients to JTC. It is expected that you will supervise the on boarding and re-acceptance process from A to Z, you will recommend and implement process improvements to create efficiencies for the organization.

CDD
  • Partner with business development team and company lawyers to ensure that prospect projects are fully understood and that the on boarding activities from all teams are coordinated to deliver;
  • Collection and analysis of KYC and Due Diligence information via direct contact with the client;
  • Working with various internal teams to effectively manage on boarding requests including interaction and coordination on the involvement of compliance and finance teams;
  • Ensure JTC agreements are finalised and signed within the agreed deadline;
  • Enhance CDD department and organization standards through improvements to existing processes and tools to ensure consistent client on boarding experiences;
  • Remain up to date on new laws and regulations relevant for KYC that potentially affect the business;
  • Keep abreast of developments relevant to ensuring sound operations;
  • Help to develop and continuously improve compliance policies and involvement in projects for the company to implement new regulations.
