Business Development Manager – Fund Administration & Corporate Services
ROLE OVERVIEW
PURPOSE OF JOB
This role supports the growth and governance of our Fund & Corporate Services client base across Europe, focusing on both business development and administration related matters. Using your experience in selling financial services and delivering key projects involving governance, you will develop both new and existing client relationships, support new client onboardings (from A to Z) and drive operational efficiencies and solutions.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
- Assist with achieving sales goals within the European region through consultative selling, sourcing new opportunities, building executive relationships, delivering proposals, and closing business.
- Support client onboarding, including assessment and review of client due diligence, KYC procedures, risk assessments, bank account openings, and related documentation.
- Proactively research, identify, and support sales opportunities, and assist in refining solutions for clients.
- Build strategic relationships with key intermediaries and referral partners to deliver complete solutions and grow the overall sales pipeline.
- Offer cross-sell solutions to existing and new clients to leverage JTC Institutional Client Services’ global capabilities.
- Undertake and guide team members throughout the onboarding process of new clients.
- Ensure accurate information in the JTC Salesforce systems.
- Develop knowledge in Fund and Corporate services.
- Consistently demonstrate JTC core values and expected behaviours.
- Support the ICS Division to achieve good corporate governance in accordance with regulatory requirements while aligning to the Group’s overall aims, business plan and long-term strategy.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
- 5+ years of combined experience in consultative sales/business development/ client servicing and/or client onboarding at corporate/fund administration providers.
- Experience with AIFMD, as well as familiarity with private equity/real estate operations and industry issues.
- Experience with Luxembourg corporate structures, risk, and compliance considerations.
- Ability to bring in, develop and maintain intermediary network, and build meaningful professional relationships.
- Knowledge of AML/CFT/CPF requirements and practical application of relevant legislation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Primary work location will be Luxembourg.
