JTC Asking the Experts: A Focus on Spain

18th Dec 2020

Episode six of Asking the Experts is hosted by JTC’s Miami-based managers, Ignacio Terrera & Victoria Pastore. This time they are joined by Spanish attorney, Luis Suarez De Centi from Uría Menéndez.

Luis has more than 12 years’ experience with Uría Menéndez, and he was appointed as counsel in 2020. He currently heads the tax group in the firm’s New York office and focuses his practice on corporate tax, international tax matters, real estate tax law and advice to family offices and high net worth individuals.

Ignacio, Victoria and Luis discuss relevant tax developments for private clients who are considering investing in or through Spain, why a Latin-American client should consider an ETVE (a tax-efficient international investment structure), asset protection agreements in place between Spain and Latin American countries and 2021 tax reforms. Watch the video to find out more.

If you have any further questions, please email Ignacio or Victoria directly.
