Senior Manager – Forensic & Web3 – FFP

ROLE OVERVIEW

PURPOSE OF JOB

The role sits within the Fiduciary, Liquidation and Web3 teams and will lead forensic mandates and other engagements to existing and prospective clients in line with the strategic objectives set by the Group Board.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

  • Type Web3, Directorship, and Liquidation engagements: Manage and perform day to day tasks for assigned entities reporting to the Engagement Leader or Relationship Partner across JTC offices.
  • Forensic engagements: Lead in conducting forensic exercises to investigate financial discrepancies and support legal proceedings.
  • Litigation and Claims: Managing inbound and outbound litigation and liaise with legal counsel.
  • Regulatory & Statutory records: Manage the maintenance of regulatory and statutory records.
  • Billing & Fee Collection: Manage billing and fee collection, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing and payment tracking.
  • Filing & Record Keeping: Oversee filing and other record keeping, ensuring all documents are properly organized and stored.
  • Supervision: Supervision of junior staff and administrators providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality work and professional development.
  • Adhere to JTC core values and expected behaviours.
  • Any other duties as deemed necessary or defined by Management and/or Group Board.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Extensive experience in forensic accounting, open-source Intelligence, insolvency analysis and asset tracing, and experience preparing reports for legal counsel.
  • Proven experience in Web3 and Digital Assets investigations, demonstrating a strong understanding of Web3 processes and blockchain analytic tools.
  • Knowledge of International Insolvency Law and experience dealing with service providers, law enforcement and legal teams on forensic investigations, financial disputes and insolvency matters across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Experience and knowledge of financial services, including familiarity with industry regulations and practices.
  • Strong project management skills, capable of handling multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision and direction, demonstrating initiative and self-motivation.
  • Ability to lead and contribute to business development initiatives.
  • Experience in coaching and training junior staff, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
  • Ability to travel at short notice, as required by the job.
  • Ability to meet demanding client deadlines, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of services.
  • Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Holder of an undergraduate degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Accounting qualification from an internationally recognized accounting body (e.g., CA, ACCA, CPA).
