Senior Manager – Finance

ROLE OVERVIEW

PURPOSE OF JOB

Responsible for the monthly management results of the US and Caribbean entities as well as the preparation of the interim and year-end financial statements ensuring adherence to relevant accounting standards.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

• Responsible for the preparation of the monthly management results for US and Caribbean entities, adhering to strict internal reporting deadlines.
• Responsible for the preparation of annual financial statements, ensuring compliance with relevant Reporting Standards.
• Responsible for the interim review and year-end audit of the US and Caribbean entities, being a key contact for auditors and managing the audit deliverables.
• Responsible for bookkeeping and reconciliation of salaries for the US Group.
• Responsible for the liaison with external tax consultants to complete consolidated US tax returns.
• Responsible for the preparation of quarterly and annual Bureau of Economic Analysis returns for submission to the U.S. Department of Commerce.
• Responsible for line management and mentoring of a Senior Accounts Officer.
• Taking a key role in the review of month end management accounts for the ICS division ensuring a four-eye review.
• Involvement in the year end budgeting process.
• Adhere to JTC core values and guiding principles.
• Adhere to Risk & Associate Compliance procedures in relation to regulatory requirements and AML legislation.
• Any other duties as deemed necessary by Management

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

• ACCA/ACA qualified.
• Previous line management experience is essential.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
• Strong communicator and stakeholder manager.
