Graduate Trainee Programme – FFP

ROLE OVERVIEW

PURPOSE OF JOB

The graduate trainee will gain valuable work experience in the different areas in our offices under the mentorship of senior staff.   

The graduate trainee programme will last twelve months, and the graduate will spend time in each of 4 key areas: 

  • Insolvency & Liquidation.  
  • Trust and Corporate Administration.
  • Investment Management and  
  • Operations and Compliance. 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

  • Gain an understanding of how FFP/ JTC works as a business and adds value to clients.
  • Work closely with senior team members, gaining exposure to high-level client work and leadership engagement that is rarely available at entry level in other firms. 
  • Fulfilling tasks set out by supervisors including conducting research, analysis, updating spreadsheets, attending meetings, preparing letters and other administrative duties. 
  • Learn and get exposure to a client calls, planning meetings, and projects that run from start to finish. Liaise with intermediaries/clients as necessary and under the supervision of more senior team members.  
  • Adhere to Risk & Associated Compliance procedures in relation to regulatory requirements and AML legislation. 
  •  Adhere to the FFP / JTC core values and expected behaviours. 
  • Any other duties as deemed necessary by Management.  

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Must hold Caymanian status to be eligible to apply. 
  • University graduate seeking an onward professional career path in finance. 
  • Excellent attention to detail. 
  • Good analytical skills. 
  •  Strong communication skills with an enthusiastic and helpful outlook. 
  • Must submit copies of full university transcripts as part of application process for Bachelor and any higher degrees, together with a cover letter explaining motivation for applying to this programme.
