Nicola Cowan

Highlights

She has extensive experience in a number of investment strategies such as structured finance, digital assets and other private equity strategies.

Within her role, Nicola acts as a Court appointed Official Liquidator, Court appointed receiver and voluntary liquidator. She also sits as a board member on a variety of offshore registered funds and companies.

Nicola started her career at a Big Four firm and now has over 15 years’ experience in insolvency and restructuring.

Prior to joining JTC Special Situations, she was the in-house liquidations manager at a leading fund governance provider where she oversaw a portfolio of voluntary liquidations and strike offs and specialised in the voluntary liquidation of hedge funds and related structures.

Nicola is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW), INSOL International and International Women’s Insolvency & Restructuring Confederation (IWIRC).
