ROLE OVERVIEW
PURPOSE OF JOB
JTC is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Trust Officer to join the Singapore-based team. In this role, you will support the administration of trust accounts for ultra-high-net-worth clients, ensuring compliance with legal and internal requirements while delivering exceptional service. You’ll work closely with Trust Officers and senior stakeholders, gaining exposure to complex trust structures and global client portfolios.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND SUTIES
- Manage an existing book of trust accounts working alongside a Trust Officer: types of accounts include revocable and irrevocable trusts, both discretionary and directed.
- Handling the administration and paperwork for the facilitation of all matters relating to the day-to-day administration of trust structures.
- Compliance with legal requirements and internal procedures in relation to accountancy activity: including identification and reporting to our Senior Risk Committee and management of the risk of financial loss and/or damage to JTC reputation arising from the activities within the JTC Trust businesses.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with Trust Officers, Senior Management, Internal and External Stakeholders on all Trust administration matters.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience, ideally in trust management and administration; relevant experience in other areas will also be considered.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Good communication skills, both written and spoken.
- Good interpersonal skills / Team player.
- High level of accuracy and excellent attention to detail.
- Works well under pressure.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
