JTC Adds More Top Hires To Funds Team In Jersey

Jersey 26th Sep 2023

JTC, the leading professional services firm with deep expertise in funds, corporate and private client services, has added two new senior members to its funds team in Jersey.

These strategic hires build on JTC’s 37-year history in Jersey and reinforce the commitment to fund services as a core of its solutions-based approach.

Will Turner and Ben Durbano specialise in Real Estate and Private Equity respectively and join Ashley Vardon, Senior Director – Fund Services, who was appointed earlier this year.

Will has over 16 years’ experience within the financial services industry in Jersey, Hong Kong and Singapore, all of which has been focused on the real estate sector. He will be responsible for supporting the delivery of client service within the wider Jersey Funds team, specialising in real estate.

Ben has over 18 years’ experience within financial services specialising in private equity. In his role, Ben is responsible for the oversight of the fund services team and a diversified portfolio of clients. Although specialising in private equity, Ben also has extensive experience with real estate assets and listed funds.

Alan Baird, Head of Funds (Jersey) at JTC, commented on the appointments:

“We are delighted to welcome Will and Ben to our team in Jersey. Both bring extensive experience and proven track records to reinforce our Real Estate and Private Equity offerings. I am sure they will prove a huge success and add significant value for our clients.”

These appointments come as JTC reported a 30.6% increase in total revenue to £121.5m as well as net organic growth rising by 21% and record new business wins over the year up 15.9% to £14.6m.
