JTC Group began life in a small office on the Esplanade in St Helier, Jersey on Monday 23 March 1987. Three decades, three months (and three days!) later, our 200+ Jersey team returned to the Esplanade to all work under one Global HQ roof in an iconic new building which has been named JTC House.
Having been constructed to meet global BREEAM environmental standards, the ‘Grade A’ contemporary office development has an open plan design as well as a range of client space and staff meeting areas. The new office will also act as the hub for JTC’s global operations across its numerous world-wide jurisdictions.
The opening of our new global headquarters marks a significant milestone in the evolution of JTC and it’s especially pleasing to be able to do so in our 30th anniversary year.
JTC has grown from starting with just a handful of staff to having an international team of more than 575 employees. Whilst the opening of JTC House affirms our roots – and also our commitment to Jersey as a world-class finance centre – as a Group we remain focused on expanding our global footprint and service offering to the benefit of all our clients and partners.
We’re particularly proud that the building’s design elements and features reflect our company’s culture. It is open, welcoming and modern, offering a working environment conducive to great teamwork and signals our long-term ambitions as a growing business.
