JTC Fiduciary Services professionals recognised in Leaders List 2017

Eleven individuals from JTC Group are included in Citywealth’s Leaders List 2017.

The list, which is published annually, is a directory of leading professionals in the private wealth management and private client industry. It is the result of an ongoing year-long programme of peer recommendation and verification.

Featured in the Trustees and Private Client Trustees categories are Nigel Le Quesne (Group Chairman and CEO of JTC), who features in the list for a third consecutive year, Iain Johns (Group Head of Private Client Services), Trevor Falle (Group Head of Institutional Services), Stephen Whale (Group Director – Private Client Services – Jersey), Saffron Harrop (Director – Private Client Services – Jersey) and Pablo Tedin (Managing Director – Americas).

Michelle Le Herissier (Managing Director – BVI), is ranked in the Trustee and Power Woman categories for the second year running, whilst David Vieira (Group Head of Business Development & Marketing) is recognised as a leading individual in the Business Services category.

Darren English (Director – Private Client Services – Jersey), Karen Burton (Manager – Private Client Services – Jersey) and Paulina Harvey (Manager – Private Client Services – Jersey) are featured in Citywealth’s Top 100 Future Leaders list.

This follows a very strong year so far for JTC. The firm recently won the ‘Independent Trust or Fiduciary Company’ award at the WealthBriefing European Awards 2017, and is a finalist at the forthcoming STEP Private Client Awards 2017/18 in the ‘Trust Company of the Year (Large Firm) category.

The firm recently expanded its reach by acquiring Merrill Lynch’s International Trust and Wealth Structuring business, subject to regulatory approvals. The ITWS business provides the administration of trust services for Merrill Lynch Wealth Management’s international advisory clients. In addition, Merrill Lynch and JTC have entered into a strategic relationship whereby JTC will offer a range of trust administration services to new and existing international advisory clients.

Commenting on JTC’s success with Citywealth, Nigel Le Quesne said:

“JTC celebrates its 30th anniversary in 2017. This milestone year is a special one, and achieving accolades such as these is symbolic of our firm’s success as it grows from strength to strength. Our investment in both the business and our people continues to be a priority, and the well-deserved recognition of our individuals showcases our expertise and client commitment across the Group.”
