JTC Strengthens It’s US and Latin America Business Development Teams

Global professional services provider, JTC, has strengthened its business development capability in the US and Latam with four senior appointments within its Private Capital Services (PCS) division.

As part of JTC’s ongoing growth within the Americas Mariano Marco, Michael Schiff, Sam Traxler and Matt England have recently joined the JTC team.

Returning to JTC where he previously worked for seven years, Mariano joins as Head of Client Services – Latam and will be based in JTC’s Miami office. Having worked in Argentina, the BVI and the Cayman Islands in a number of senior roles, Mariano has extensive experience working with professional advisers and clients globally, with particular expertise in developing wealth planning and succession strategies for high-net-worth clients in the Latin America region.

Michael has been appointed Director, Business Development, based in JTC’s recently opened Delray Beach office. His main focus will be on developing key intermediary relationships in Florida, particularly within the legal, accountancy and investment sectors. He has over 30 years of experience in the legal and private client industries, with extensive expertise in working with both domestic and international clients and in establishing and managing complex structures.

Sam joins JTC as Senior Director in JTC’s Strategic Transformation team. He is responsible for establishing and executing large-scale trust administration partnerships with US banks, investment institutions and other financial organisations. Sam previously worked in a senior business development role with an independent broker-dealer, where he was responsible for business development and sales strategy.

Matt takes up the role of Regional Business Development Officer. He is responsible for developing JTC’s network of key partnerships across the Midwest, cultivating relationships with partners, advisers and other private wealth professionals and developing new business opportunities.

Richard Hughes, Head of Private Capital Services US said:

“The US private wealth industry is undergoing significant change, with several key shifts on the horizon. Household wealth in the US currently exceeds $150 trillion, and forecasts suggest that around $80 trillion will pass between generations by 2045. Against this backdrop, an increasing number of high and ultra-high net worth individuals are expected to seek fiduciary structures to preserve and enhance wealth, while facilitating the seamless cross-generational transfer of assets.

“As the largest independent multi-state trust company in the US, JTC’s goal is to be the partner of choice for wealth advisers across the region. To support our future growth ambitions, we continue to invest in our business, and these four new hires will play a pivotal role in expanding our intermediary network. I am delighted to welcome Mariano, Michael, Sam and Matt to the JTC team, and I look forward to working with them as we continue to strengthen JTC’s capabilities across the US markets.”

Emilio Miguel, Regional Head of Latin America said:

“Mariano’s hiring underscores JTC’s strategic growth ambitions and continued commitment to supporting Latin American clients, and it also capitalises on JTC’s strategic relationships with leading global financial institutions with strong Latam footprints”
