Melanie joined JTC in 2021 and is responsible for assisting the Private Client Services and Employer Solutions businesses with a wide range of issues relating to the establishment and operation of a variety of private wealth structures. She specialises in trust and fiduciary matters and has 15 years’ experience in trusts law.

Melanie qualified as a Jersey solicitor in 2004 and proceeded to work as a court clerk to the Royal Jersey Court for five years. Following this, Melanie worked for twenty years with Carey Olsen, which included time as in-house counsel to an international bank.

BA French and Spanish (Joint Hons)

In Their Spare Time

Melanie enjoys spending time with her family, travelling with them and hearing and speaking different languages. When at home she enjoys table tennis, sea swimming (all year!), cycling and growing vegetables.
