We are delighted to announce that three UK based JTC ICS team members have been selected as winners for the 2021 DMJ Governance Hot 100, showcasing first-class expertise and outstanding service delivery in their respective business areas.
Selected by a judging panel comprising experienced governance professionals and industry experts, this initiative commends the 100 most innovative, influential and creative governance professionals representing all levels of experience, across each industry sector throughout the UK and the Channel Islands.
Susan Fadil, Senior Director, Christopher Gibbons, Associate Director and Ruth Wright, Assistant Manager have been all selected as 2021 winners.
Susan Fadil, selected for the Team Leader category, has been with JTC since 2017. Winning criteria for this particular category included demonstrating the ability to be an inspirational manager, creating high functioning governance teams and actively being involved in the career development of her team members.
“Susan developed a skilled governance team with best practice throughout led by coaching and mentoring. She implemented a quarterly CoSec forum for the sharing of ideas with other company secretaries. She’s a knowledgeable leader always looking to solve the challenges of new governance regulation.”
Like Susan, Christopher Gibbons has been with JTC since 2017. Inclusion as winner of the ‘Relationship Manager’ category required an individual with an outstanding reputation for supporting a varied client portfolio and the ability to build trusted relationships:
“Chris has developed strong relationships with his colleagues, clients and advisors. He is trusted by clients and confidently oversees team portfolios providing sound and thorough technical guidance. Chris is fully engaged, committed and motivated which is demonstrated by his drive and determination.”
Ruth Wright, included as winner in the Technical Expert category, joined JTC in 2019. She was able to demonstrate the highest level of technical competency to support Governance best practice:
“Ruth promotes best governance practice at all times and ensures that the Boards that she works with are aware of developing best practice. She has been instrumental in developing JTC’s internal board evaluation offering and how they approach best practice in preparation of the Annual Report and Accounts.”
