Triple Success for JTC Private Client Services Team in NextGen Leaders’ List

6th Jun 2023

Three individuals from JTC’s Private Client Services team have been named by ePrivateClient as 2023 Channel Islands NextGen Leaders.

Managers Paul Russell in Jersey and Joshua Allaway in Guernsey have both been included in the list once again, whilst Jersey-based Assistant Manager Shannon Renouf is included for the first time this year.

The NextGen list supersedes the publication’s ‘Top 35 Under 35’ initiative, originally launched in 2018. It seeks to identify and celebrate the rising stars of the private client profession across Jersey and Guernsey, spanning tax, trust, law and accountancy.

The reputation of the individual’s company, their career trajectory, experience and involvement in promoting good organisational culture are all criteria considered by ePrivateClient when compiling the list.

Paul, who has been recognised in the previous incarnation of the list for the past five years, has been at JTC since 2014 and was promoted to his current position of manager in 2019. He administers a multi-jurisdictional portfolio of high net worth clients, including some of JTC’s more complex structures, and he helps develop junior trust officers in the division.

Joshua joined JTC in 2019 and has been included in the list for the past two years. He has over a decade of fiduciary experience and has spent the majority of his career in Guernsey, with some time spent working in Mauritius. Joshua manages a portfolio of international private and corporate clients across various sectors and holds a diploma in international trust management.

Shannon, who joined JTC in 2014, plays an important role as part of JTC’s welcoming committee for new starters acting in a ‘buddy’ capacity, while she is also a champion for the division in terms of project role outs and system changes. She is currently studying towards the Chartered Governance Qualifying Programme.

Paul Weir, Regional Head of Private Client Services, Europe, commented:

“At JTC, we remain committed to supporting and developing talent to ensure that members of our team can reach their full potential, deliver outstanding client service and stand out as leaders in the industry. I’d like to congratulate Paul, Joshua and Shannon for this well-deserved recognition, which is a reflection of the high standards we hold ourselves to across our teams in Jersey, Guernsey and beyond.”
