Independent service provider JTC has received further recognition for its private client services expertise by being named in the shortlist for the 2016 Citywealth Magic Circle Awards.
Following JTC’s success in being included in the shortlist for the Wealthbriefing Europe Awards in February, JTC has now been named as a finalist in the ‘Institutional Trust Company of the Year’ category in the awards organised by international wealth management publisher Citywealth.
The well-established annual awards are designed to identify the best advisors and managers in the global wealth management industry and celebrate excellence, technical expertise, innovation and leadership across the sector. The shortlist was selected by an independent panel of ten expert judges, with winners being identified through a combination of online voting and a further judging process and announced at a gala awards dinner in London on 12th May.
In being shortlisted, the judges recognised the international success JTC witnessed in 2015. During the year, the firm experienced its 27th consecutive year of growth, was granted new licenses in Malta and Mauritius to provide private client services and significantly bolstered its presence in Guernsey, Luxembourg and South Africa to complement its well established operations in the Americas, Asia, Caribbean and Switzerland. It also made a number of senior strategic hires across its global network.
Iain Johns, Group Head of Private Client Services, said: “2015 was a hugely significant and successful year for JTC when we saw real growth across our business lines to position us strongly in offering a comprehensive range of private client and institutional services covering Europe, Africa, Asia and the Americas. Through a focus on strategic expansion, innovation and client service, JTC is incredibly well placed, as is reflected in being shortlisted by Citywealth, which is also testament to the genuine strength and depth of expertise of our global team.”
Also shortlisted in the ‘Institutional Trust Company of the Year’ category are Northern Trust, RBC Wealth Management and Saffery Champness.
