JTC has announced a number of changes to its senior leadership team in Jersey as it continues to evolve its proposition and gear up for future growth.
As part of the changes, and with immediate effect, Kenny Rae assumes the role of Managing Director – Jersey. He takes over the position from Paul Weir, who held the position for three years and will move to a new strategic role within JTC’s Group Risk and Compliance team.
In his new position, Kenny, who will take a seat on JTC’s Jersey Board, will drive the ongoing evolution of JTC’s offering in Jersey, working in tandem with colleagues both in Jersey and across JTC’s global network.
With considerable industry experience, having been with JTC for more than 17 years, he will also continue in his existing role as Chief Operating Officer (COO) for the firm’s Institutional Client Services (ICS) Division, responsible for the overall operational framework and strategy of JTC’s Funds and Corporate service lines.
Meanwhile, in his new role within Group Risk and Compliance, Paul will focus on the design and implementation of a new Business Control function for the Group, which will span both of JTC’s Divisions and provide a scalable and mature governance, risk and compliance-based platform to support future growth. He will also retain his role as European Regional Head for Private Client Services (PCS).
Paul, who has worked across the international trust and fiduciary services sector for almost three decades, has earned a strong reputation in the cross-border private client industry and marked his tenth anniversary at JTC last year, while also being named in Citywealth’s 2023 Top 20 Trustee List.
Nigel Le Quesne, CEO, JTC, said:
“I am extremely grateful for Paul’s excellent tenure as our Jersey Managing Director. He has played a critical leadership role throughout a period of significant growth for our Jersey business and for the Group as a whole. His experience will be vital in this new strategic role within our Risk and Compliance function.
“In addition, we are delighted that Kenny will be taking over the reins as our new Managing Director in Jersey. He has vast experience, having been pivotal in developing and enhancing our funds capabilities in recent years. The depth of knowledge and leadership expertise he brings to the role will be invaluable as we continue to focus on our ambitious growth objectives over the coming years.”
