Kieran Clarke

Highlights

Within his role, Kieran oversees a varied portfolio of engagements, dealing with regulatory and tax matters, cross-border litigation management and the resolution of investment and stakeholder disputes.

Prior to joining JTC Special Situations, Kieran began his career with a Big Four firm in Dublin, where he worked on the audit of large investment fund structures, including mutual funds, hedge funds, venture capital funds, private equity funds and funds of funds pursuing a variety of strategies.

Kieran regularly serves as director and liquidator to private equity funds, hedge funds and other investment holding companies. He is experienced in handling complex and contentious matters, often involving high-value litigation and regulatory issues. Most recently, he played a key role in the successful defence of a private equity fund facing claim in excess of $100 million and was heavily involved in a secondary market sell-side transaction of U.S. limited partnership interests valued at more than $1.5 billion.

He is an Associate member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland, the Restructuring and Insolvency Specialists Association in the Cayman Islands, INSOL International and the Cayman Islands Society of Professional Accountants.
