22nd Feb 2024
JTC’s international network of offices helped inject more than £250,000 into local community initiatives, projects and good causes over 2023, as part of the Group’s flagship corporate social responsibility programme.

Bringing together charitable donations and community sponsorships – as well as individual and collective fundraising initiatives – the ‘JTC Gives’ programme aims to empower teams around the world to help make a meaningful impact in the locations where it operates.

In 2023, the combined hard work of JTC’s global network meant that the company sponsored, raised, and donated a total of £255,417 to good causes through JTC Gives.

As part of the programme, employees from across 20+ jurisdictions organised and hosted a broad range of fundraising activities and events over the year, ultimately helping to support 88 different charities and local community initiatives across Europe, the Americas, the Caribbean, Africa and Asia.

Some of the standout events and activities undertaken included:

  • Getting active by taking part in Walk All Over Cancer
  • Supporting the Foodbank of Delaware
  • Helping to fight breast cancer through Think Pink in Luxembourg
  • A beach clean-up in Cape Town
  • Featuring in Amsterdam’s Marathon for KWF Cancer Society
  • Hosting an innovative charity Re-Style Shop in Jersey

Commenting on the impact created through JTC Gives in 2023, Wendy Holley, Chief Operating Officer at JTC, said:

“We recognise that, with almost 2,000 people across our global network of offices, there is considerable potential for JTC to have a positive influence in our local communities. I’m delighted that through the individual and collective efforts of our teams, brought together by our JTC Gives platform, we once again succeeded in realising that potential in 2023, providing an impressive boost to community causes around the world.

“As the broad and diverse range of activities undertaken by our teams shows, we truly are ‘stronger together’, and I am incredibly proud of the combined efforts of all our people.”
