It gives us great pleasure to have once again been selected as one of only five finalists in the ‘Trust Company of the Year (large firm)’ category in the STEP Private Client Awards 2018/19, which is to be held in London on 7 November.
Rightfully perceived as the most prestigious awards in the private client industry, recognition in the STEP Private Client Awards serves as clear validation of our continued commitment to client service excellence over the last year. In the last twelve months JTC has once again taken forward and implemented a host of innovative, client-focused initiatives such as:
- Multi-jurisdictional Merrill Lynch trust acquisition and custom-made solution suite for its US-linked clients
- Buildout of our South Dakota operation to offer domestic US trust solutions
- Rollout of JTC Edge, a purpose-built online portal for family offices and (U)HNW clients
JTC’s commitment to the development and education of its employees was also exemplified in May when we were accredited by STEP as a Gold Employer Partner in ten jurisdictions. Awarded in recognition of our “supportive and empowering culture”, this was the most jurisdictional accreditations awarded to any single company.
Following JTC’s successful listing on the London Stock Exchange in March, being a STEP finalist continues a theme of recent successes. These include winning the ‘Independent Trust or Fiduciary Company’ award for the second consecutive year at the WealthBriefing European Awards 2018 and being recognised as a Tier 1 trust company for 2018 by eprivateclient, likewise for the second year running.
We have also in the last week been shortlisted in the Jersey category of the Citywealth IFC Awards 2019, while our Asian colleagues at JTC Kensington have made the Asia shortlist.
While we are extremely pleased to have received these accolades, our sights will remain firmly fixed on the differentiation, innovation and commitment to service excellence that have been the bedrock of our success.
