Senior Manager – Compliance

ROLE OVERVIEW

PURPOSE OF JOB

The Senior Manager – Compliance is instrumental is driving a strong compliance culture at JTC Global AIFM Solutions (Ireland) Ltd. This role also brings responsibility as the Designated Person for Regulatory Compliance (PCF-39-F) for this business. From strategic to operational delivery, this role holds authority and accountability for overseeing all compliance matters for the business and ensuring it meets its regulatory obligations.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

• Act as DP Regulatory Compliance for JTC Global AIFM Solutions.
• Support the development of a robust compliance culture.
• Monitor, interpret and implement regulatory developments impacting AIFM and AIFs.
• Liaise with Central Bank of Ireland and other regulatory authorities.
• Responsible for the maintenance, implementation and enhancement of the AIFM compliance monitoring program.
• Prepare and present Board reports, including updates on breaches, regulatory updates, compliance monitoring etc.
• Ensure appropriate policies are in place, manage review, update and development of same.
• Lead on Compliance Training and internal awareness initiatives as required.
• Oversee regulatory reporting obligations and ensure ongoing fulfilment of authorisation conditions.
• Participate in firm-group wide risk / governance projects.
• Provide compliance support to the wider AIFM team.
• Any other duties as deemed necessary by Management from time to time.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

• University degree (or equivalent).
• Relevant legal / compliance qualification.
• Sound grasp of Ireland’s legal and regulatory funds framework and a number of years’ experience in the industry.
• Previous experience working in a compliance role in the funds industry.
• Strong ability to evaluate regulations and translate the operational impact.
• Experience managing and monitoring a Compliance Monitoring Programme.
• AIFM experience preferred but not required.
• Excellent oral & written communication skills.
• Team player, Self-starter with proactive attitude.

The expected minimum salary for this position is 80,000 Euro, based on experience and qualifications.
