Administrator – Investment Fund Administration & Standard Investments

ROLE OVERVIEW

PURPOSE OF JOB

The role holder will be responsible for the efficient and timely processing of investment administration, cash management and reconciliation across core range and non- core range assets. These transactions will be on behalf of participants of International Employee Benefit schemes, International Pension plans, Deferred Compensation Schemes and Employee Share Ownership Plans.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

  • Manage investment transactions, including subscriptions, redemptions, switches, cash movements, foreign exchange, capital calls, and Private Equity distribution receipts.
  • Administer fund manager and managed account portfolio transactions, ensuring all activities are completed accurately and on time.
  • Prepare, process and coordinate instructions and supporting documentation for Fund Managers, Investment Managers, Treasury and other internal departments.
  • Complete account maintenance documentation and due diligence for fund managers and managed accounts to ensure accounts remain compliant.
  • Ensure all documentation is completed, maintained, and signed within required timelines, including account maintenance records to support ongoing compliance.
  • Verify the accuracy of deals, transactions, payments, and related administrative activities.
  • Maintain regular liaison with Fund Managers, Investment Managers, and internal stakeholders to support efficient transaction processing and issue resolution.
  • Investigate, reconcile, and resolve cash, transaction, and account queries.
  • Minimise operational risk and reduce errors by following established procedures and controls.
  • Ensure all external communications are carefully considered and issued in the standard JTC format.
  • Adhere to regulatory, risk, compliance, and AML requirements, as well as JTC core values and expected behaviours.
  • Carry out any other duties as required by Management.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Completer / finisher – ability to see tasks through to the end.
  • Comfortable using general office tools (e.g. Excel, Microsoft office).
  • Ability to collate and present information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Positive ā€œcan doā€ attitude.
  • Strong awareness of operational risk and an understanding of governance framework.
