Jurgen Borgt

Highlights

Jurgen has over 25 years of experience in financial services, specialising in corporate services, capital markets and private clients across the Netherlands, Curaçao, Luxembourg and Switzerland.

After starting his career in law in the Netherlands, Jurgen spent several years at another prominent financial services firm in Curaçao, managing client portfolios spanning the Netherlands Antilles, Aruba, the British Virgin Islands and Luxembourg. Jurgen then moved to Switzerland and during his time there he took on the role of Director of Client Services, leading post-merger integrations, opening a greenfield Zurich office and implementing FATCA, CRS, GDPR and ISO 27001 across the Swiss organisation. Jurgen has also served as a Managing Director, overseeing offices in Geneva, Zug and Zurich with a leading financial services firm.

Jurgen is a member of the Swiss Board Institute, the International Bar Association (IBA) and the International Fiscal Association (IFA).

In their spare time

When not at his desk, Jurgen can be found with his head in an enjoyable book or admiring classic cars as a devoted enthusiast of oldtimers.

Jurgen is also fluent in Dutch, English and French; he has a working knowledge of German and Spanish.
