JTC Promotes Mark Fleming to Jersey Private Client Head

Jersey

JTC has promoted Mark Fleming to the position of Head of Private Client Services in Jersey.

In his new role, Mark will assume responsibility for the Jersey team’s activities within JTC’s Private Client Services (PCS) division, and he will work with colleagues across the firm’s international network to continue to develop and evolve JTC’s proposition for high net worth and ultra-high net worth clients and families, in line with JTC’s global growth strategy.

Mark takes over the role from Paul Weir, who has moved to a new strategic position within JTC’s Group Risk and Compliance team.

Having joined JTC in 2020, Mark was previously Deputy Head of Private Client Services in Jersey. He began his career as a chartered accountant with one of the ‘big four’ and has also spent over a decade working for a bank-owned trust company. At JTC Mark has a particular focus on clients based in the UK and Europe, and he is heavily involved in fiduciary structures involving family offices that hold private and quoted investments, luxury assets and commercial property through a range of trusts and companies.

He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners.

Iain Johns, Group Head of PCS, JTC, said:

“Mark has extensive experience within the global private client space, and I have no doubt that he will lead our Jersey team to build on its excellent performance and maintain its market-leading position. I would like to thank Paul for his contribution over recent years, which includes developing a strong platform with a team that is focused on delivering the best possible service to our clients.”
