Tom Cowsill

Highlights

Tom joined JTC in 2024 as the Head of Group Tax, overseeing the Group’s tax strategy, planning, compliance and risk management across all jurisdictions.

Tom started his career as a corporate tax practitioner within the Financial Services unit at Ernst & Young. He subsequently spent time at Jersey Finance where he held several roles, culminating in his appointment to head the Technical Team, representing the finance industry and influencing tax and regulatory change.

Tom has spent time in industry, leading the Policy and Advisory function at an international bank and trust company. Directly prior to joining JTC, he also led the Jersey tax practice of PwC Channel Islands, providing tax advisory and compliance services to a broad spectrum of clients.

In their spare time

Tom enjoys spending time with his young family and, having accepted that his prime football years are long behind him (if they ever existed at all), tries to keep fit through the gym and walking the dog.
