Frances Becker

Highlights

Frances serves as a Senior Trust Specialist and PTC Trust Officer. In this capacity, she leads business development initiatives, collaborating with financial advisors nationwide to educate them and help facilitate the transfer of their clients’ trusts to South Dakota.

Prior to JTC, she worked at SDTC, originally joining in 2010, where she helped establish their Rapid City office.

From 1985 through 1996, Frances practised law at Wilson, Olson, Nash, & Becker. Her practice concentrated in trust, estate planning, and business transactional work. In 1997, joined Rushmore Bank & Trust to assist the bank in establishing a trust department and market national trust work.

Frances has been a member of the South Dakota Governor’s Trust Task Force since 1997. The industry body drafts trust legislation for the South Dakota Governor to keep South Dakota as one of the top trust jurisdictions in the USA. She is one of the original members of the task force and has been reappointed by each subsequent Governor.

In their spare time

In her spare time, Frances enjoys traveling the world and making the most of the beautiful Black Hills, where she lives. She enjoys taking in the natural beauty through bicycling, scenic convertible drives, cross-country skiing, and snowshoeing.
