ROLE OVERVIEW
PURPOSE OF JOB
The Senior Administrator will support the day-to-day delivery of Banking & Treasury activities in Poland, ensuring payments, foreign exchange transactions, fixed deposits, reconciliations and related banking and treasury activities are processed accurately and within bank deadlines.
Working within established procedures and under the direction of the management team, the Senior Administrator will apply strong technical knowledge across both banking and treasury disciplines, maintain a high standard of accuracy, and ensure operational controls and compliance requirements are upheld consistently.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
- Process and administer payments, foreign exchange transactions, fixed deposits, receipts and account closures accurately and within bank cut-off times.
- Complete daily reconciliations and bank imports, investigating and escalating differences as necessary.
- Ensure all related bookkeeping is posted in a timely manner and is up to date.
- Collate panel bank fixed deposit rates and update relevant systems.
- Prepare base rate changes and instructions for bank placements as required.
- Prioritise tasks effectively to ensure all deadlines are met in accordance with bank cut-off times.
- Ensure all housekeeping and control reports are completed accurately and within agreed timeframes.
- Act as an authorised B signatory for payments, foreign exchange transactions, fixed deposits and receipts in accordance with internal approval procedures.
- Support the management team with ongoing tasks, ad hoc projects and UAT testing as required.
- Assist with the training and development of Administrator-level colleagues.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with internal teams and relevant third parties.
- Identify and escalate operational issues, control concerns or discrepancies to the Assistant Manager promptly.
- Adhere to Risk and Compliance procedures in relation to regulatory requirements and AML legislation.
- Adhere to CPD requirements in accordance with qualification level and internal procedures.
- Adhere to the JTC core values and expected behaviours.
- Any other duties as deemed necessary by management.
The expected minimum salary for this position is 108,000 PLN, based on experience and qualifications.
ESSENTIAL REUIREMENTS
- Experience within banking operations, treasury operations or a payment processing environment
- Working knowledge of payments, FX transactions and fixed deposit administration
- Ability to manage high-volume workflows within deadline-driven environments
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team
- Understanding of the importance of operational controls, procedure adherence and compliance requirements
- Ability and willingness to act on own initiative within defined parameters
