Shawn joined JTC in November 2022 following the acquisition of New York Private Trust Company in Delaware, where he was President and Chief Trust Officer.
Shawn continues his responsibilities as part of JTC, including the overall management of personal trust administration, new business, corporate governance, compliance and risk management and trust operations.
Shawn has worked with investment advisors and estate planning professionals for over 20 years. Prior to joining New York Private Trust Company, he was a founding member of another Delaware trust company’s leadership team, where he built personal trust relationships with independent investment advisors and estate planning professionals. Before this, Shawn also worked as a vice president and trust officer in other Delaware based trust companies.
Shawn’s legal experience began as Law Clerk for the Pennsylvania Department of State and the Disciplinary Board of the Pennsylvania Supreme Court.
