Esperance Marais

Senior Manager - Corporate Services South Africa 

Esperance joined JTC in 2017 within our Institutional Client Services division, and is responsible for managing the financial reporting function and the audit process of real estate and corporate entities.

She also managed the preparation of the consolidated IFRS financial statements of JTC Group in preparation for our listing on the London Stock Exchange in March 2018.

Prior to joining JTC, Esperance gained valuable audit and accounting experience at BDO Limited in Jersey, where her main focus was on audit quality and ensuring that the risk management and auditing processes were carried out successfully. She also has extensive technical knowledge and application of accounting standards, including IFRS and US GAAP.

In Their Spare Time

Esperance loves to travel and explore new countries and cities, especially when it comes to learning about their culture and trying out the local cuisines and wines. A keen runner, she also has her sights firmly set on smashing a half marathon one day.
