David Ombrasine

Highlights

In 2026, David was appointed as Deputy Managing Director of Mauritius, supporting the strategic leadership of the office and contributing to executive decision-making, overseeing operational excellence, people leadership, governance and sustainable growth.

David was previously a Director in the Risk and Compliance department and was responsible for the implementation and monitoring of the Mauritius Risk, Compliance and AML Framework, acting as Compliance Officer and MLRO.

David has a strong track record in building and developing high‑performing teams, fostering continuous improvement and maintaining effective working relationships with regulators and industry partners regionally and internationally, as well as with clients.

He has held senior control function roles, including MLRO, Compliance Officer and Data Protection Officer, across multiple jurisdictions, including Mauritius, the UAE, Qatar, the Cayman Islands, the BVI and Singapore.
