The Specialist Fund Segment (SFS)
The SFS is a dedicated market for specialist closed ended investment funds targeting institutional, professional and knowledgeable investors. The SFS has been designed to suit a range of highly specialised funds, including: private equity funds, feeder funds, hedge funds, both single and multi-strategy, specialist geographical funds, funds with sophisticated structures or security types, specialist property funds, infrastructure funds, sovereign wealth funds and single strategy funds.
AIM
AIM is the London Stock Exchange’s alternative investment market for smaller growing companies. A wide range of businesses including early stage, venture capital backed as well as more established companies join AIM seeking access to growth capital.
The shares of any fund traded on a UK exchange will need to be admissible to CREST, the UK share settlement system, or another electronic system such as Euroclear or Clearstream. Guernsey and Jersey shares are eligible for settlement in CREST.
Euronext
Euronext is the first pan-European exchange, spanning Belgium, France, the Netherlands, Portugal and the UK. Created in 2000, it unites markets which date back to the start of the 17th century. It is the primary exchange in the Euro zone. Euronext operates a regulated and transparent equity and derivatives market.
The International Stock Exchange (TISE)
TISE provides a listing facility and a market for companies to raise capital from international investors based on a bespoke trading platform in the Channel Islands. The exchange can list specialist securities including Eurobonds, Structured Debt, Warrants, Structured Funds and SPVs, specialist debt issues for professional investors investment funds, primary and secondary listings of securities and shares issued by Channel Islands and overseas companies.
