NATIONAL IOD RECOGNITION FOR JTC GROUP CEO

Nigel Le Quesne, Group CEO & Chairman of JTC, has been recognised for his leadership skills and expertise on the national stage.

Nigel was ‘Highly Commended’ in the International Director of the Year Award category in the prestigious UK IoD Director of the Year Awards and was presented with his prize by guest host comedian Miles Jupp at a ceremony held at the Lancaster London Hotel in late October.

In total, more than eighty company directors from across the country were up for a range of awards, which were judged by a panel of 33 governance, business and marketing experts from the IoD network.

The IoD Director of the Year Awards are now in their sixth year and are designed to recognise and celebrate the exceptional achievements of individuals at director level within private, public and voluntary organisations in Britain. It picks individuals from the best of British business who are chosen initially through the IoD’s regional Director of the Year awards programme.

In April this year, Nigel was awarded the ‘Global Director of the Year Award’ in the IoD Jersey Director of the Year Awards at a gala ceremony and dinner hosted by writer, broadcaster, former MP and Government Whip Gyles Brandreth.

Nigel’s achievement reflects the continued success JTC has had on the international stage over the past year under his leadership, including the strengthening of its global footprint and workforce across its network of 18 jurisdictions worldwide.

Commenting on his accolade, Nigel said:

“JTC is truly an international business and we pride ourselves on the consistent high standards of expertise and service across our global network, so to be recognised in this international category is very pleasing. It’s a privilege to lead the business at JTC and I very much see this recognition as an endorsement of the team as a whole.”
