JTC's leading professionals once again recognised by Citywealth

Published 19 May 2014

Four of JTC’s leadership team have been duly acknowledged and honoured for their expertise in the 2014 Citywealth Leaders List.

Nigel Le Quesne, Chairman and CEO of JTC, and Trevor Falle, Group Director, were both listed in the Top 20 Leading Trustees globally.

Iain Johns, Group Head of Private Client Services, and Saffron Harrop, Managing Director in Jersey, are featured as Leading Trustees and Prominent Figures in Jersey.  This is Iain’s fourth consecutive year of recognition and Saffron is also listed in a further new category, ‘Power Woman,’ introduced by Citywealth for the first time this year.

The Citywealth Leaders List recognises high calibre lawyers, accountants, trustees and fund managers in private wealth for their high-calibre work they have undertaken during the year and the regard in which they are held by their contemporaries.   It is an annually produced comprehensive database ranking experts within the wealth management arena across a range of disciplines and from over 40 countries around the world.

This recognition follows JTC recently being shortlisted at the Citywealth Magic Circle Awards and is a true reflection on JTC’s commitment to the industry and marks their busy year. Over the past twelve months, the Group has expanded and enhanced its private client capabilities significantly through a series of acquisitions and alliances, which include the purchase of Ardel Trust Company (Switzerland) SA in Geneva, the acquisition of a substantial book of Jersey based private client business from Herald Trust Company Limited, and strategic alliances with Kensington Trust Group, which operates predominantly in Asian markets, as well as further alliances in the Cayman Islands, Cyprus and the Netherlands.

Nigel Le Quesne, Chairman and CEO commented:

“My colleagues and I are delighted to be recognised by our peers and the sector for our collective expertise and this reinforces our commitment to our clients and valuable contribution to the industry.  It enhances our Private Wealth and Family Office Services objective of being a leading international provider of specialist private wealth services and strengthens our multi-jurisdictional growth plans to meet our clients’ needs.”
