JTC Fund Solutions (Ireland) Limited is a newly formed company and is currently seeking regulatory authorisation. As a JTC Centre of Excellence, the company will provide a full suite of fund administration services to closed ended, limited liquidity and hedge fund vehicles on site.

The Supervisor – Investor Services will be a key member of the operational team and will participate in and assist in the operational build out, strategic build out, and the development and cultural evolution of JTC Fund Solutions (Ireland).

Purpose of Job

The Transfer Agency & Investor Services Team is responsible for the accurate maintenance of all Shareholder Registers for funds administered by JTC. They are responsible for the timely and accurate execution and settlement of all investor subscription, redemption and switch transactions, distributions, capital calls and the distribution of investor data. They are responsible for the accurate maintenance and monitoring of all shareholder data including customer due diligence and know your customer information retention.

Essential Requirements
  • A relevant tertiary qualification – preferably including Accounting; Finance; Investments
  • Experience working in a hedge fund/private equity administration capacity
  • Demonstrable product knowledge
  • Demonstrable experience in a supervisory capacity
  • Knowledge of Investran an advantage
Main Responsibilities and Duties
  • Supervise staff on systems, processing and adherence to procedures/ job responsibilities
  • Review and approve work performed by colleagues
  • Responsible for interacting with all levels of professionals both internally and externally.
  • Participatory role in supporting BAU client relationships and ensuring successful outcomes across all associated relationships.
  • Manage and ensure all operational deadlines are consistently met
  • Actively participate in supporting long term team projects.
  • Review and oversee investor subscription, redemption and switch transactions
  • Review and oversee share/unit transfers.
  • Review and oversee preparation and circulation of capital call and distribution calculations and notices.
  • Review and oversee preparation and circulation of Investors Capital Statements and relevant calculations.
  • Review and authorise payments accurate and timely processing.
  • Review of client mailboxes ensuring that all emails are actioned in accordance with the agreed client turnaround time.
  • Review of weekly/daily cash reconciliations and proper investigation and resolution of any reconciling differences.
  • Review of static data changes to investor information.
  • Query and issue resolution and query resolution oversight within the team to ensure no queries or issues remain outstanding or result in an error, breach or client dissatisfaction.
  • Review of incoming investor due diligence.
  • Review of regular reporting. Eg Admin reports, client reporting.
  • Coach and supervise other team members (including training and coordinating the training of new team members) to ensure the team functions as a cohesive unit.
  • Actively participate in ensuring all processes and procedures are properly documented and adhered to
  • Investigate errors, complete the required JTC error reporting process and implement the required remedial action in order to ensure the error is not repeated.
  • Actively and continually identify and report high risk areas and gaps in processes to ensure the identification and escalation of risks and gaps.
