Administrator / Senior Administrator – Investment Oversight Team

Purpose of Job

The post holder will be responsible for assisting in the monitoring of all assets held within Employer Solutions’ spectrum of service lines – pension and retirement plans, employee benefit trusts and deferred compensation plans – accurately and on a timely basis. The role will involve liaising with various teams within Employer Solutions, and the wider JTC, as well as third party vendors. The post holder will be required to work with limited supervision but as part of a small team.

Main Responsibilities and Duties

  • Run daily reports to ensure fund ranges are correct, identify any discrepancies or changes and liaise with other teams within Employer Solutions on any findings
  • Work with Employer Solutions’ investment advisors to ensure all relevant monitoring of investments is undertaken and any recommended changes are actioned
  • Ensure that data is collated and sent to third parties on a timely basis such that reviews of externally managed accounts and any non-standard investments are completed within agreed timeframes
  • Review, investigate and, where applicable, action any points raised on managed account or non-standard investment reviews
  • Review and monitor private companies in which Employer Solutions have a holding
  • Assist with regular reviews of plan investment ranges by acting as liaison between the trustee and the investment advisor
  • Act as point of contact for investment managers or advisors
  • Assist with ad-hoc investment related projects, as required
Essential Requirements
  • Educated to A-level standard or equivalent
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently
  • Confident communicator (written and oral)
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and under pressure
  • Strong IT skills and good knowledge of Excel
  • Investment and / or trust knowledge desired but not essential
