Jersey based Commercial Office Director, Stephanie Henwood-Darts has been nominated as one of the best young chartered accountants (CAs) globally, in the ‘ICAS Top 100 Young CAs 2020’ listing.
ICAS, the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland, is a world-class network promoting, inspiring and enabling professional excellence in CAs. The Top 100 Chartered Accountants list is an annual showcase of the best and brightest CAs in the world of accounting, finance and business. The CAs selected in this year’s list all faced an anonymous and rigorous judging process focused on finding young professionals who are outstanding in their field.
Steph, who joined JTC in 2019, was nominated for her dedication to her role at JTC, where she has helped drive the business forward commercially through various initiatives including implement changes in JTC’s service model, recommend technological enhancements and identify key efficiencies to improve revenue and meet industry financial expectations. In addition, Stephanie’s role includes keeping up to date with changes in international laws and regulations. This means not only anticipating changes but also identifying how they might present commercial opportunities.
Commenting on Steph’s nomination, Dean Blackburn – Chief Commercial Officer at JTC said:
“Steph’s nomination is well deserved given the real difference she has made for JTC since joining the firm last year. Through her commerciality, experience and determination, Steph has helped identify and deliver a series of commercial initiatives which have benefited both JTC and our clients. She is a credit to the firm and I am delighted that she has been recognised in this way by such a leading accountancy body.”
Congratulations to Steph and to all of the exceptional CAs who made it on to this year’s Top 100 Young CAs list.
