Meghraj Group is an international investment banking advisory, fiduciary services and infrastructure consulting organisation headquartered in the British Isles. The Group was founded by Mr. Meghji Pethraj Shah in 1922 in Kenya.

Meghraj Capital

Meghraj Capital is Meghraj Group’s investment banking advisory business, which assists clients with M&A (buying and selling businesses), finding strategic and joint venture partners, and raising debt and equity funding. Meghraj Capital operates from offices in India, Kenya, Japan, UK, USA and Dubai. The team’s international mind-set and hands-on experience of working with different cultures provides Meghraj Capital with a unique perspective and ability to act as a bridge for flows of capital into, out of and between East Africa, India, Japan, UK and USA.

Meghraj Capital also has an experienced infrastructure consulting team that provides management consulting work for clients (companies, development finance institutions and governments) in the following sectors: power (including conventional, renewable energy, energy efficiency), climate change and sustainability, urban infrastructure and transportation infrastructure. The team is based in India and Kenya, but has been working on projects in various countries in Asia, Africa and North America.


MTC Trust & Corporate Services is Meghraj Group’s Kenyan onshore trustee, corporate and fiduciary services business, based in Nairobi. MTC’s experienced team serves the corporate, private client, institutional and professional communities in Kenya and the East African region. Guided by an experienced board, whose careers span a broad range of legal, banking, and corporate services professions, MTC provides highly bespoke solutions tailored to meet the individual needs of its personal and corporate clients.
