Avril joined JTC at the end of 2016 to provide a dedicated in-house group resource for FATCA and CRS compliance and reporting.
Avril has over 21 years financial services experience and her career began at a large asset management house based in Cape Town. After 10 years there, she moved to work with the third largest insurer in South Africa to focus on the implementation of new tax legislation. Avril then concentrated on FATCA from 2012 onwards, working closely with other industry bodies in instigating it’s legal requirements nationally across the business. CRS followed in natural succession to FATCA implementation and reporting.
