Leanne Wallser – Head of Investment Funds and Corporate

  • Leanne joined JTC Law in 2024 to lead the Investment Funds and Corporate Practice.
  • Leanne brings extensive experience representing investment fund managers, financial institutions, and sponsors in relation to the structuring, establishment, operation, and termination of a wide range of investment funds. She has particular expertise in the areas of private equity, real estate, venture capital, infrastructure, digital assets, technology, debt, and impact funds.
  • Leanne also advises on all aspects of Jersey corporate and commercial law, including corporate restructurings, joint venture arrangements, Jersey vehicles holding UK and European real estate (JPUTs), acquisitions and mergers, liquidations, and all aspects of Jersey corporate process and governance.
  • Leanne has over 20 years of experience practicing Jersey law and joins us from another international law firm where she held a position as a global partner.

  • Jeremy is the Founding Partner of JTC Law.
  • He is a Jersey Advocate, a practicing English Barrister, and is admitted to practice in the British Virgin Islands, Bermuda, and the Abu Dhabi Global Market.
  • He is known for his expertise in providing contentious and non-contentious advice across the core offshore practice areas of insolvency, corporate, and trusts law.
  • Jeremy has significant insolvency and restructuring experience, dealing with cross-border insolvencies, asset recovery/tracing, and receiverships. He has been instructed on factually and legally complex company law cases concerning minority shareholder actions, corporate governance disputes, and schemes of arrangement, in the context of general operating companies, cell companies, and other investment vehicles.
  • Jeremy has over 25 years’ experience in the legal profession.
  • Jeremy practiced as a barrister in England, as an Attorney in Bermuda, and was at another Jersey-based law firm for eight years, with a total of five years as a partner.

David Dorgan – Head of Private Client and International Trusts

  • David is a Jersey advocate with a significant specialism in private and commercial trusts and foundations.
  • He also has extensive experience in drafting bespoke and complex trust instruments, foundation regulations, and company documents for HNWI and UHNWI and families, preparing bespoke will trusts, and providing documentation for SPV, philanthropy, charitable, and non-charitable purposes.
  • David also has considerable experience in corporate and finance matters, in particular, transactions involving trustees refinancing or selling and/or purchasing trust fund property and/or HNWI or families entering entrepreneurial ventures. He has also provided opinions to foreign courts, foreign revenue authorities, and institutional lenders on complex issues relating to trust and corporate issues.
  • Before joining JTC Law, David was a partner of another Jersey-based law firm, and Group Head of their Private Client & Trusts in the Crown Dependencies for 7 years.
  • David has over 20 years of legal experience and is also a Jersey notary.

  • Mark joined JTC Law in 2021 as an English solicitor based in our London office.
  • Mark previously worked for a large multinational professional services firm as the in-house lead on international litigation and trusts matters as well as head of legal for the Jersey business. Accordingly, he has broad experience in advising trustees and directors in contentious and non-contentious matters associated with providing fiduciary services. He also has considerable experience in regulatory disputes and complex litigation involving some of the leading Jersey case law on insolvent trusts and winding up companies on ‘just and equitable’ basis.
  • Mark has 22 years of experience as a solicitor, having originally qualified as a solicitor in Australia in 2002 before qualifying as an English solicitor in 2009.
