In 2015, The Financial Services Commission in Mauritius granted JTC (Mauritius) Limited a licence for Mauritius Global Business Companies, funds, listings of securities on the Stock Exchange of Mauritius and private client structuring. As a result of its geographic location close to Africa, time zone and extensive range of double tax agreements, Mauritius has become a desirable location from which to do international business particularly into Africa and India. Mauritius has a modern legislative regime for establishing funds, companies, limited partnerships, trusts and foundations. At JTC we have a dedicated Africa team who have been working with clients and their advisors in East, West and Southern Africa for over 20 years.
