JERSEY Funds and Corporate Services

JTC’s headquarters is based in Jersey where the business was founded in 1987. JTC Group’s Jersey office provides a wide range of fund, corporate and private wealth services to international clients.

The Jersey office has almost 200 staff and JTC is recognised as a leading pan-Channel Islands fund administrator. We have proven track record in providing incorporation, fund administration, accountancy and director services enabling us to effectively service the needs of fund managers and the fund community.

We are a top five TISE listing agent and, in addition, JTC Listing Services Limited is a category 1 and 2 member of the TISE, giving us the ability to sponsor specialist debt securities and investment funds onto this recognised exchange.

We currently administer six London Listed entities across diverse sectors including Real Estate, Private Equity, Transport, Mining, Renewables, Construction, Oil and Gas and Equity Investments. The Channel Islands have more companies and funds listed on the LSE than any other jurisdiction globally (excluding the UK), and continues to attract companies that wish to list on other international exchanges such as the Toronto and Australian stock exchanges. At the end of 2015, there were 222 CI domiciled entities with 93 in Jersey.

Reasons to choose Jersey as your domicile

  • A British Crown dependency, Jersey has been established as an international finance centre for over five decades.
  • Jersey has its own democratically elected Parliament, which has consistently maintained responsibility for domestic affairs including fiscal matters.  Jersey also operates its own judicial system, which is based on common law principles.  Furthermore, Jersey is debt-free, with stable reserves and a policy of balanced budgets.
  • Jersey offers a tax-neutral environment, with no Capital Transfer Tax, Capital Gains Tax, Value Added Tax, Withholding Taxes or Wealth Taxes.  This provides tax certainty and allows for fiscally efficient cross-border investment.
  • Jersey remains one of the best regulated international finance centres, a position that has been acknowledged by independent assessments from some of the world’s leading bodies including the OECD.
  • Jersey is fully aligned with the highest standards of the third anti-money laundering EU Directive and was the first offshore finance centres to become a full signatory to the IOSCO Multilateral Treaty, an international benchmark for cross border co-operation between regulators.
  • Jersey’s robust, modern and sophisticated legal framework is the source and foundation of Jersey’s finance industry.  Developments and enhancements are continually being made to ensure flexibility and attractiveness to domestic and international markets.
  • Listings are available through the The International Stock Exchange (TISE)
  • Jersey offers a comprehensive and robust business and communication infrastructure. The wealth of experience and expertise offered by Jersey’s highly skilled financial service providers, combined with a world-class infrastructure, gives an unparalleled welcome to businesses and investors alike.
  • The Island’s location between Europe and the UK places it in a time zone between the US and the Far East.
